An exam question bank with a reason for every answer

TestBanker is an exam question bank for certification and licensing exams. Every question is written to the exam’s public content outline and explains each answer option, right and wrong, with a cited reference. Each exam has a free 25-question diagnostic that needs no account, and the full bank is sold as a one-off pass that does not renew.

Choose your exam

Each exam's page sets out its format and fees, its content outline with weights, and what the question bank for it includes.

21 exams

What every question includes

A practice question is only as useful as its explanation. Each one in the bank has the same five parts.

  • The question

Written in the exam's own format, at the level the outline describes.

  • A reason for every option

Why the key is right, and separately why each other option is wrong.

  • A one-line takeaway

The single idea to carry into the next question on that topic.

  • A cited reference

Where the answer comes from, so you can check it rather than take our word.

  • Its outline task

The exact task in the exam owner's outline that the question tests.

How to use a question bank

  1. Step 1

    Take the diagnostic

25 questions spread across the exam's outline. No account. You get a score for each content area, which tells you where to start.

  2. Step 2

    Practice by content area

Work through the bank in tutor mode. After each question you see why the right answer is right and why each of the others is wrong.

  3. Step 3

    Switch to the clock

Timed mode holds the explanations back and runs at the exam's pace, so reading and committing within the time allowed becomes routine.

  4. Step 4

    Sit a full-length mock

The same number of questions and the same time limit as the exam, weighted across the outline the same way. Review every miss.

How the questions are written and checked

Stated plainly, because it is the first thing you should ask of any question bank.

  1. Step 1

    Written to the public outline

Each question is written by AI against one task in the exam owner's published content outline. Nothing is taken from the exam itself.

  2. Step 2

Solved blind by a second model

A different model answers the question without seeing the key. If it does not reach the same answer, the question is not published.

  3. Step 3

    Audited for flaws and duplicates

A separate pass looks for item-writing flaws: two defensible answers, a giveaway in the wording, a rationale that contradicts the key. Near-duplicates are removed.

  4. Step 4

    Corrected in public

Learners can report any question. Reports and answer statistics flag questions for withdrawal or correction, and every correction is logged.

There is no human subject-matter-expert review in that process, and we do not claim one. What you get instead is a cited reference on every question, so you can check it yourself. Read the full methodology or see the corrections log.

Common questions

What is an exam question bank?

A question bank is a large set of practice questions for one exam, organised by the topics that exam tests, that you can work through in any order. It differs from a single practice test in size and in what it tells you: because every question is tagged to a topic, your results show which parts of the exam you are weak in, not just a score.

Is it free?

Each exam has a free diagnostic of 25 questions. It needs no account and no email, and every question is fully explained at the end. The rest of the bank, the timed mode and the full-length mock exams are sold as a pass for a fixed number of days.

Does a pass renew automatically?

No. A pass is a one-off charge for a fixed number of days. When it ends, it ends; nothing is charged again unless you buy another pass.

Are these the questions that appear on the exams?

No. Every question is original, written to the exam owner's public content outline. Exam owners keep their questions confidential, so no legitimate practice site has them. What practice can match is the content, the format and the pace.

Who writes the questions?

They are written by AI against each exam's public outline, then verified by machine: a second model answers each question without seeing the key and must agree with it, a separate audit looks for item-writing flaws, and near-duplicates are removed. There is no human subject-matter-expert review and we do not claim one. Every question cites a reference so you can check it, and corrections are logged publicly.

What happens if I use the whole bank and still fail?

If you completed 100% of the bank with an average of 80% or better and did not pass the exam, your pass is extended by 90 days at no charge.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 7 days of buying a pass, provided you have answered fewer than 50 questions since buying it.
